Weeks 1–3 · Base
Stance, posture and a relaxed grip.
Four programs of 8 to 12 weeks, built on video of your own shooting.
We rebuild form from the feet up: stance width and angle, posture without leaning, a relaxed bow hand, and the shoulder alignment that lets your back do the work. Blank bale shooting with no target removes the temptation to aim and lets form settle.
Stance, posture and a relaxed grip.
Shoulders, and drawing with your back.
Form without a target to chase.
Keeping the form when a face appears.
The same place, confirmed every arrow.
Continuing to pull through the shot.
Relaxed, not triggered by panic.
The sequence surviving a scored round.
A shot sequence is a list you run identically whether it's practice or the last arrow of a round. We build yours, work on a consistent anchor, expansion through the clicker or the wall, a release that doesn't collapse, and follow-through that proves nothing stopped early.
Plenty of form problems are equipment problems. We check draw length and weight against what you can hold, match arrow spine, and work through basic tuning and bare shaft testing. Anything structural goes to a qualified technician — and we'll say when it should.
Draw length and a weight you can hold honestly.
Spine, length and consistency.
Nocking point, rest and bare shaft.
Strings, checks and when to see a technician.
What each session is actually for.
Tracking honestly, including bad days.
Between arrows, and between ends.
Prepared, shot and debriefed.
Shooting three hundred arrows without a plan mostly practices your current mistakes. We build sessions with a purpose, score regularly to track real progress, and prepare for competition — including the routine and breathing that keep the shot sequence intact when it counts.
